Its just that I don't seem to have enough time in the day. I finish work at one then I'm working on a new website as well as learning Spanish and tending to my allotment! I will make more effort to come on here and with BB starting very soon I'm sure it won't be hard ;D ;D The website I am working on is called Room for 5, its for families who have more than the typical 2 children to help them find a hotel room that can accomodate them all in one room, you will probably know how difficult it is Kim because I'm sure you have more than 2 kids, i could be wrong though So if any of you know of a place that has rooms to sleep 5 or more it would be great if you could let me know. The site address is : www.roomfor5.co.uk , let me know what you think

Hi Dee. I wondered where you had got to. I don't think there are enough hours in the day for you. ;D I am now back at work part time so what with that and looking after Alicia, I don't get much spare time myself anymore. lol She's getting a right cheeky little madam now. I was changing her nappy a couple of days ago and she said to me "You fu*k". We never swear in front of her so I have no idea what she was trying to say, but I couldn't stop laughing at her, which of course encouraged her even more. ;D I just hope she doesn't start saying it in public. Dee your site looks great. Come to think of it, when we go abroad, the rooms only seem to sleep 4, so yeah it's not ideal for bigger families like you say.

Hi Caz, it is funny when they swear and you can't help but laugh but its mortifying if they do it in public ;D ;D The site is coming along but its taking ages to get the information as you can tell its hard to find. Your right about holidays abroad, we have the same problem with all inclusive holidays:0( They are always for families of 3 or 4 and then you have to get two rooms at double the cost. One parent has to sleep in a room with 1 or 2 kids and the other with the other 1 or more, its not good, you'd think hotels would have cottoned on to this, its a big problem unfortunately for us

Would it not be better for you and your family to hire a villa when you go abroad, as they tend to cater for larger families. Only trouble is, sometimes they are in the middle of nowhere so unless you are going to hire a car, you are pretty much relying on public transport to take you into the town.

Exactly Caz, and Villas are not cheap either. Luckily we go to the same place every year but its not as cheap as it used to be with th euro and everything Our kids want to go to kids clubs and stuff but we pay a fortune to find anywhere we can stay that accommodates 5 and we have to book well in advance, no bargains for us

You remembered correctly Dee - I've got four kids (well not kids anymore!!) and yes we had horrendous problems taking them on holiday. We didn't even attempt taking them abroad until Jay was about 13 (there's 6 years between him and the eldest daughter) then we used to have two rooms where we had one of the girls in with us and the other two with Jay (much to his disgust!!). We could guarantee however much we emailed and phoned before for adjoining rooms, we'd get two rooms at opposite ends of the hotel and usually spent the first couple of hours of a holiday arguing with receptionists!! The only place we found that was truly child friendly was Ireland. Not sure about hotels as we always stayed at my sisters, but if we went out a family ticket didn't mean two adults and two children, but two adults and however many children you had! We now look for adult only holidays or go during term time ;D The website sounds like a brilliant idea! I seem to remember Bulgaria having family rooms, but they were for two adults and three kids max. so no good for us. Haha Caz, you think she's embarassing now - just wait until she starts school ;D I started researching my family tree last October and have got totally sucked in by it. I've got much further than I thought I would and have got back to the early 1500s on some lines!! Luckily it's been so absorbing I didn't get too bored waiting for my leg to mend. But with BB starting of the 4th June I can see the tree getting neglected!!!

4 kids kim?? I would have rooms for you now!! ;D My mum has been doing her family tree, she loves it but now we have the allotment its been given a bit of a back seat although she did mention she had found a lot more info using the latter day saints website. I have to say it is very interesting, especially when you find out your ancestors were imbeciles!!!lol

Only found one ancestor that died in a lunatic asylum (so far ). The Mormon website is useful, but there are lots of gaps on there - best thing about it is it's free!!! Yes Dee, 4 kids - then we bought a telly xx
