This has nothing to do with cooking

but it does have to do with smoking and how you might find a solution to the nasty habit. "Kick smoking in the bum" as the British might say.

OK so there was this 75 year old German lady who was talking to me and she noticed i was a smoker and said. "you know if you wantz to ztop zmoking, you zhould put chewing tobacco between your toez."

so i looked at her like she was crazy, or delirious from her old age and said. "..wha..?"

<-----this was the look on my face at the moment...

so she continues

"Put chewing tobacco between your toez for about a month and ze habit should ztop"

again i was bewilderd...the poor lady must have had a traumatic life....i guess she saw my confusion and went on after chuckling a bit.

"Ze feet are ze most absorbent part of ze human body, and putting ze chewing tobacco between ze toez will give you ze nicotine but not ze bad zide affectz of zmoking."

so i started to understand her and thought that maybe she wasn't so nutty as i first had thought.

she went on to say that after about a month you could stop with the tobacco between your toes and after that you wouldn't feel the need to smoke anymore...

DISCLOSER: As far as i know this is a load of crap, but hey, she's 75 and German so...she might know a thing or two. I mean a lot of people laugh at wives tales and a lot of them do work or hold some sort of truth to them.
